Lladró has been inspired by the warriors of pre-modern Japanese to create an imposing sculpture that expresses the qualities that defined these protective guardians: containment and strength. Samurai Warrior is made of stoneware, an ideal material for large creations decorated with enamels. These pigments, when crystallizing in the oven, acquire endless nuances that, in addition, are different in each piece, so that each resulting figure is unique and unrepeatable. The piece is completed by the ornamentation work on the armor, helmet and skirt, engraved by hand.
