The name of the Greek goddess Theia – mother of the sun, the moon and the dawn – gives its name to this lamp because its design wants to express above all the beauty of light and the fascination we feel for it. At Theia, materials and shapes are just the means to materialize the concept that has motivated her work: uniting light and shadow in the same piece.

Theia has two faces, to reveal them you just have to gently rotate it on its axis. It can be directed towards the user and functions as a reading lamp. Or, towards an object or a wall, creating a subtle indirect light effect that provides warmth. This twist completely changes the perception of the piece, since its metal diffuser is completely opaque.

Vetra could be just a traditional, blown glass lamp, but when you turn it on, it brings us a surprise. Joan Gaspar uses a closed glass diffuser as a reflector, with the originality of placing the light source outside the screen instead of inside it. It emits more light than we expect without dazzling us: a large part of it is directed downwards, and the rest filters into the interior of the screen, subtly illuminating it. As if there were an echo and the light multiplied, turned on it shows its entire profile drawn, it seems to be alive.

In an era as digital as the current one in which you buy with a click and read by sliding your finger, sometimes you miss something as human as touching - with all its intention -. The Bolita lamp invites you to touch the light to modulate it.

Its structure is as simple as it is magical: a round surface that houses an LED located on its central axis and a superimposed crystal ball that, when it moves, constantly produces the effect of an eclipse. By moving the Ball we dim or increase the light and this game captivates with its beautiful visual effect.

Beyond its function as a lamp, Dipping Light seeks to excite. When turned on, it is fascinating: its different shades of paint filter the light, creating a magical effect in the environment. When turned off, it transforms into a colored glass sphere, an object with a great aesthetic charge.

Dipping Light was born as an experiment - dipping a lit light bulb into paint several times - but it becomes a lamp. Thus, the various layers of paint draw concentric circles and trap the light, attenuating its intensity. The paint becomes a screen, coloring the light and giving it texture. A brass or graphite base is added as support. This artisanal process makes each lamp unique and exclusive.

The Funiculí is one of the most emblematic lamps of Marset. Its design has seen a lot of time pass and is still current but it is also functional, it can illuminate with direct or indirect light and allows the height of the light to be modulated with its set of clips.

Heir to the first Funiculí, this version is offered with a textile screen, a design that Lluís Porqueras already designed in 1979 but that has not seen the light of day until today.

For Lluís Porqueras, designing consisted of eliminating the superfluous until leaving an essential object: beautiful, useful and simple. This is what he did with the Funiculí, a lamp from 1979 that Marset reissued in 2013 and which has become an emblem of the collection.

It is light, takes up almost no space and can function as an ambient lamp or as a direct light lamp, it all depends on how its lighting is directed. Its designer freed up the screen to give it maximum mobility, it can be oriented up to 360 degrees and focus the light wherever desired and it also has a double clamp system that allows you to vary the height of the diffuser, raise and lower it.

The Ginger collection is very extensive and includes different sizes of suspension, tabletop - also the portable version -, floor-standing, two wall versions with a mobile arm, and four sizes of wall lights with great formal simplicity that can be combined with each other.

With these two very diverse materials – wood and metal – the Ginger becomes a versatile collection, so much so that its outdoor version is also incorporated, closing the circle: There is a Ginger for any lighting and aesthetic need.

The beauty of the Mercer comes not only from its essential shape but also from how its materials come together. The transparent blown glass structure surrounds the textile lampshade, it seems to float, transmitting lightness and sophistication.

The interior diffuser fabric is available in two finishes: in raw cotton tape, and in a more modern and minimalist version, in pearl white.
