An exclusive and rare design from Vilhelm Lauritzen, the Radiohus Sofa was designed for Denmark’s Radio House – today the Royal Danish Academy of Music – in 1936. A pioneering piece of Nordic Functionalism, the elegant design shunned the conservative and straight lines of the time in favour of a more futuristic expression. Beautiful from all angles, its curved lines and open construction welcome and embrace the sitter, while the quilted back highlights the exactness of its design. A piece of furniture that requires space, let it stand freely in a room.

The Tearoom Collection offers indulgent retreats and mood-lifting comfort for a multitude of settings. The inspiration for the collection came from Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s Willow Chair, created between 1902 and 1904 for the Willow Tea Rooms in Glasgow. Beckoning us to bask in a bit of luxury, the high-backed Tearoom Sofa elevates relaxation with its sculptural, modern and tactile form. Made with public spaces in mind – a hotel lobby, workspace or lounge setting, as a standalone or placed back-to-back in multiples – the clean silhouette features a contoured back offers moments of quiet contemplation in busy spaces. Beneath the upholstery, a wood and foam construction creates the ideal pairing of sturdiness and lush comfort. The addition of a USB-C port and power socket at the base makes it a practical spot for work as well as play.

This is a separate cover for the Offset Loose Cover Sofa.

Offset is the result of research into ‘balance’ by Norm Architects. The studio wanted to create a sofa as simply as possible while embracing a set of paradoxes: making it substantial yet delicate in appearance, architectural yet inviting and homey.

The Offset Loose Cover introduces increased longevity, functionality and versatility to the collection, with a removable and washable exterior crafted from a custom-made cotton and linen blend textile in three timeless colours. The soft, natural and easy to clean cover creates a relaxed silhouette for the Offset, imbuing spaces with a sense of casual elegance.

Timeless in its expression and execution, the Tearoom Collection is well-suited to both period and contemporary environments. Like the Tearoom Club Chair, the Tearoom Lounge Chair and Tearoom Sofa radiate elegant yet strict femininity. Their embracing form, while alluring, stops short of being overly casual. As such, the furniture maintains a clear visual connection to the sculptural 1904 Willow Chair that originally sparked the designer’s imagination.
