Marset

For Lluís Porqueras, designing consisted of eliminating the superfluous until leaving an essential object: beautiful, useful and simple. This is what he did with the Funiculí, a lamp from 1979 that Marset reissued in 2013 and which has become an emblem of the collection.

It is light, takes up almost no space and can function as an ambient lamp or as a direct light lamp, it all depends on how its lighting is directed. Its designer freed up the screen to give it maximum mobility, it can be oriented up to 360 degrees and focus the light wherever desired and it also has a double clamp system that allows you to vary the height of the diffuser, raise and lower it.

The Ginger collection is very extensive and includes different sizes of suspension, tabletop - also the portable version -, floor-standing, two wall versions with a mobile arm, and four sizes of wall lights with great formal simplicity that can be combined with each other.

With these two very diverse materials – wood and metal – the Ginger becomes a versatile collection, so much so that its outdoor version is also incorporated, closing the circle: There is a Ginger for any lighting and aesthetic need.

The beauty of the Mercer comes not only from its essential shape but also from how its materials come together. The transparent blown glass structure surrounds the textile lampshade, it seems to float, transmitting lightness and sophistication.

The interior diffuser fabric is available in two finishes: in raw cotton tape, and in a more modern and minimalist version, in pearl white.

The English word Scantling refers to a wooden strip that was formerly used as a unit of measurement, especially in naval construction. Its assembly is reminiscent of a construction game and its profile seems like a silhouette of light, an archetypal, almost graphic design.

The Scantling collection includes two free-standing versions, one for table and one for wall.

Theia has two faces, to reveal them you just have to gently rotate it on its axis. It can be directed towards the user and functions as a reading lamp. Or, towards an object or a wall, creating a subtle indirect light effect that provides warmth. This twist completely changes the perception of the piece, since its metal diffuser is completely opaque.

Its formal design is simpler than it appears: two hemispheres placed one horizontally and the other vertically that intersect each other. Elemental shapes that make it possible for light to be projected, reflected and absorbed by objects from a light source, so that it can be admired.

A good design is one that lasts over time. This is what happens with the Plaff-on!, a lamp that has been illuminating ceilings and walls for many years. This very functional collection is available in three sizes of 16, 33 and 50 cm in diameter and in a black finish that includes the IP protection level. Its shades are airtight and waterproof, and are designed to illuminate any outdoor or indoor space, including bathrooms.

The starting point for the Ambrosia was to bring back the traditional Linestra lamp to update it and show that a technical, resolute design can also be poetic. The Linestra was initially a line of light, which transitioned into a modular system that can be extended to adapt to any space.

Its design stems from a tubular structure with gentle lines that attaches to the ceiling, allowing the light to descend and gently illuminate any type of project. It is this diffuse light that fills the space, adding beauty.

This lighting system is available in four pre-set lengths, from 120 to 315 cm. Extensions measuring 40 and 60 cm let you define the height from which to hang them. That way, you can adjust their distance from the ceiling to create visually uninterrupted compositions.

The LED SMD 24V light tube is available in three warm colour temperatures, 2200K, 2700K and 3000K, and offers adjustable intensity. It can also be installed on a canopy that…

Since its beginnings, Atlas has consisted of a transparent polycarbonate design that envelops the bulb and has the interior structure of a spotlight. A transparent suit that conveys lightness and enables it to blend in with its surroundings.

It is available in a pendant version that emits directed light, or as a wall lamp, in which the light can be direct or indirect, bouncing off the ceiling or wall.

A simple household item kickstarted the design process of the Aura wall lamp. This decorative lamp, which provides outstanding light while turn on but stands out beautifully while off as well, was inspired by the traditional glass carafe, a mainstay of households the world over.

The Aura follows an emotional design, because of what glass means in the collective memory, as well as a rational and contemporary design because it draws on LED technology to achieve efficiency and subtlety. The opalescent, transparent, or coloured glass of its lampshade allows the light to bathe the wall and creates a luminous effect without harshness, while also generating a point of interest in the space.

Aura comes in two sizes – 18 and 25 cm in diameter – to provide lighting solutions for smaller or larger spaces. This light and forceful wall lamp should be in ideal proportion to the interior that it has to illuminate, and the proportion always depends on…

Babila demonstrates that, when it comes to a design, the material can be as important as the shape.  This new outdoor wall sconce is of polished stainless steel, a circular object that produces a panoramic effect, reflecting its surroundings. It is not designed to be an architectural element, but rather a simple and beautiful design that draws attention, whether on or off, as it allows us to catch a glimpse of the daily life occurring around it.

Babila comes in two sizes, 18 and 28 cm in diameter, and is also available in matt white or brown varnished aluminium, which provide a more discreet alternative to the chrome finish. In all of them an aura of blurred light is generated, a detail that contrasts with its material. Its lighting is indirect, soft on the wall, and well integrated into outside spaces.
