In 1958, Poul Henningsen designed the PH Artichoke lamp for the Langelinie Pavilion, a modernist restaurant in Copenhagen, where the PH Artichoke continues to amaze diners. Its sculptural design and the exceptional light it generates have given this suspended lamp its status as an international design icon. Each of the 72 leaves is carefully assembled in the perfect position, by hand, to ensure that the light does not dazzle and that the light source cannot be seen from any angle.

Originally designed for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen in 1957, the AJ lamp is among Arne Jacobsen's most important design icons. Poul Henningsen strove to create glare-free light, direct light where it was needed most and create subtle shadows, using incandescent bulbs as a light source. Henningsen's mathematical vision of lighting, which used the logarithmic spiral, resulted in the development of the three-shade system in 1925-1926 and the following family of products, which over the years has included hundreds of different models, which include everything from floor lamps to table lamps, suspended models, chandeliers and wall lamps.

Designed in 1960, the Moon represents one of Verner Panton’s earliest designs in lighting. The iconic pendant is characterized by its fan-like design with ten ring-shaped lamellae perfectly positioned to provide a soft, ambient and glare-free light. The blades reflect and filters the light and the pendant changes its appearance depending on the angle at which you view it.

The elegant Pantop line was designed by Verner Panton in 1980, and has for a long time been a staple of the Verpan collection. Pantop is characterized by a bell-like, widely flaring shade which is mounted with the aperture facing down.

The Pantop Ø23 version is available in an array of bold colours – each carefully selected to add its own personality and mood to the collection.

SPIEGEL was made famous for its role in Verner Panton’s complete interior installation of Der Spiegel Publishing House in Hamburg in 1969.

The SPIEGEL lamp is an avant-garde statement piece for the modern contemporary home. Typically for a Panton design, the lamp can be mounted either individually or as part of a system - on the wall or in the ceiling - enabling the user to create a stunning single-piece statement or a dramatic large-scale installation, depending on mood, personality and space.

Many regard the Fun collection as one of Verner Panton’s greatest masterpieces in the field of lighting design. Ever since 1964, this table lamp has kindled joy and a wealth of stories.
