Rooted in their Norwegian design ethos and use of natural materials, Torbjørn Anderssen & Espen Voll embarked on a journey to create a light and comfortable wooden chair that seamlessly combines traditional craftsmanship with a fresh, contemporary presence. Made from a combination of solid wood, laminated pieces and oak plywood, Allwood demonstrates a variety of techniques that exemplify its commitment to quality and material.

AX represents one of the first times that plywood was shaped in 3D. The continuous curve of the armrests is mirrored in the frame, indicative of Hvidt & Mølgaard’s training in Danish cabinetry. Their expert engineering of the construction ensures unsurpassed ergonomics, resulting in the design’s reputation as the most comfortable wooden chair of its kind. Available in Lacquered Oak and Walnut or Dark Stained Oak and Walnut.

To add an additional layer of comfort for the Wire Stool, we developed a seat pad in collaboration with the Panton Family. Easily attached with concealed magnetic points, four colours were chosen: blue, red, green and grey.

This inviting armchair has a strict sculptural outer shape that complements the curves of the inviting, rounded inner. With its tight upholstery and simple frame made from powder coated steel, the chair achieves a timeless, clean look with a feminine touch and an elevated feel thanks to its thin, delicate legs. The upholstery is made of a cotton/linen fabric with a lovely texture and natural colour nuance.

Simply working with the standard dimensions of solid wooden planks, the Ark collection makes a statement with its honest, unapologetic and readable design aesthetic. Having responsibility in mind from the initial design phase to the flat-packed packaging, the chair is made in 100% FSC™-certified wood and is designed for disassembly to reduce its environmental footprint. Not only a decorative design piece - the Ark Dining Chair also serve as a comfortable seat at the dining table for those long, casual dinners with friends and family.

The Herman Dining Chair – Wood Frame mixes a modern, contemporary aesthetic with simple functionality. Made entirely with FSC™-certified wood, the Herman Chair is crafted from a frame of solid, painted ash with a seat and backrest of painted ash veneer. The FSC™-certified Herman Dining Chair welcomes you with its contemporary colours and wide backrest, making sure you will sit comfortably for hours and hours. The chairs are easily stacked, and as a nicely added detail, the angles of the wooden backrests are designed so that the chairs can hang on the table. This way, you can easily clean underneath the table and the chairs won’t take up space when you don’t need them. Produced in collaboration with the Danish design studio, Herman Studio.
