Wood and metal are combined in a design of basic geometric shapes. Scantling is based on a very functional and flexible system in which all the movements of the screen, with full rotation, are resolved by ball joints and arms to create a versatile light, easy to move. Furthermore, its technical precision does not require visible springs or counterweights to maintain the chosen position.

“O” is an essential element that, when switched off, frames nature and suggests perspectives, an unobtrusive object in space that does not alter environmental balances. Its controlled and comfortable light emission can be adjusted with sensors and with the Artemide App to ensure focused operation, thus preventing waste and respecting the circadian cycles of all animal and plant species. 

The name of the Greek goddess Theia – mother of the sun, the moon and the dawn – gives its name to this lamp because its design wants to express above all the beauty of light and the fascination we feel for it. At Theia, materials and shapes are just the means to materialize the concept that has motivated her work: uniting light and shadow in the same piece.

Theia has two faces, to reveal them you just have to gently rotate it on its axis. It can be directed towards the user and functions as a reading lamp. Or, towards an object or a wall, creating a subtle indirect light effect that provides warmth. This twist completely changes the perception of the piece, since its metal diffuser is completely opaque.

Vetra could be just a traditional, blown glass lamp, but when you turn it on, it brings us a surprise. Joan Gaspar uses a closed glass diffuser as a reflector, with the originality of placing the light source outside the screen instead of inside it. It emits more light than we expect without dazzling us: a large part of it is directed downwards, and the rest filters into the interior of the screen, subtly illuminating it. As if there were an echo and the light multiplied, turned on it shows its entire profile drawn, it seems to be alive.

The name Flar echoes the French term "flamboiement", a flare or intense burst of light. Flar is extremely simple and, at the same time, highly decorative: it is a floor and table lamp that wants to be seen.

The Hover table and floor lamps have a screen that appears separate from the base, connected perfectly by a single cable that runs through the bar and then out. The final result gives the impression that the light source is practically weightless and floats in the air, like a balloon.

The diffuser, which characterizes this family of lamps with its materiality and texture, can be tilted 30° and rotated on its axis to direct the light towards reading.

Playing with the destructuring of the base profile, the light projected through the balanced rings designs fine shadows in defining a perfect quality of light in the space.
