The AJ lamp family is considered, worldwide, as Jacobsen's most famous design. In addition to the AJ stand-up, the AJ family consisted of a light overhead lamp, another smaller-sized tabletop lamp, an aplique and a tabletop lamp, each of which decorated the SAS Royal Hotel after its inauguration in 1960.
