Keglen is a design by BIG Ideas in collaboration with Louis Poulsen which opened its doors in 2017. The idea was to create a simple but bold galvanized finish of this lamp with an emphasis on geometry and the essence of light. The collaboration between Louis Poulsen and BIG Ideas began with the development of a suspension lamp for the Blåvand Tirpitz Museum, a building that BIG had designed for the Varde Museums. The Tirpitz Museum opened its doors in 2017 and the galvanized and bold finish of this lamp put emphasis on the geometry and the essence of light. The collaboration between Louis Poulsen and BIG Ideas started with the development of a suspension lamp for the Tirpitz Museum in Blåvand, a building that BIG had designed for the Varde Museums.
