In 1956, Arne Jacobsen designed the AJ Eklipta for the Rødovre City Hall. The concept was presented in two sizes: Ø350 and Ø450. They were used on interior stairs or as applications in outdoor spaces. A version of Ø220 was later designed for the University of St. Catherine, England. When Arne Jacobsen used the lighting on stairs, it was always leaning for the larger model. Today, this lighting glows in all corners of the world in a variety of architectural contexts. The lighting glows emits a soft and comfortable light.
