In 1958, Poul Henningsen designed the PH Artichoke for Langelinie Pavilionen, a modernist restaurant in Copenhagen, in which the iconic suspension model continues to inspire guests. Each of the 72 PH Artichoke sheets are carefully hand-assembled into the frame, giving the lamp its distinctive shape, which inspired its name, while ensuring an anti-glowing light from any angle.
