The Above suspension lamp, by Danish designer Mads Odgård, represents a markedly simplistic lighting design. The designer himself is deeply minimalist and creates clear and simple works, where function is valued as much as form and quality. "I have designed a lamp that embodies my mantra: How far do you dare to go to create a simple design? I prefer to remove adding, and I always include myself by making things as simple as possible", says Mads Odgård.
