The suspended lamp was used for many years in Navy buildings for different applications such as canteens and offices. The Navy Pendant, as it was then called, was used extensively thanks to its unique lighting properties and usefulness. It was not until the early 1980s that it disappeared from the Louis Poulsen catalogs. The design has a timeless appearance, but has a strong connection to the 1950s image. It was reintroduced as the Doo-Wop in 2012 with a new version of brass. In 2017 with new reflections of copper and stainless steel light.
