The Ginger collection started out in wood, an almost flat, sober lamp that discreetly lights up spaces with indirect light. Over time a new material was added to the collection: metal; a finish which is lighter, more refined, almost sculptural that provides the same warm light with no glare.

The Ginger collection is now moving outdoors to subtly light any space, with wall sconces that can be installed individually or in a cluster, a smaller version perfect for passageways and small outdoor areas, a lamppost, small floor lamps, and a new wall version with an arm. This latest design is a tribute to the traditional outdoor light casting indirect light downwards. It is available in two sizes – 20 and 32 cm diameter – and in two finishes, black outside and white inside, and rust, a colour that is more attractive when the light is on, more intense, giving an unexpected result.

The serene shapes of the Ihana trace out a silhouette of light. This lighting system consists of several opal blown glass diffusers that are pleasing to the eye, appear ductile and contrast with the firmness of the metal structure that determines its shape and fastens it to the ceiling.

In an effort to offer ambient light for any classic or contemporary interior design project, this collection can be used to create light compositions. This is made possible by its structure, which can be extended to include 14 diffusers, connected to a single point of light. It is available in different sizes to illuminate spaces with high ceilings as well. In addition, the Ihana features dim to warm technology, which allows not only regulating the intensity of the light, but also its colour temperature, which can vary from a warm white (3000K) to an ultra warm white, simulating candle light (1800K).

Through the language of textiles, Joan Gaspar has designed a light of flexible, ductile materials that sifts the light as readily as it moves with the wind. In the Jaima collection, the light is the shade and weaver of emotions.

This new collection takes its name from the Bedouin tents of North Africa, and is inspired by their varied fabrics and forms. The textilene shade is available in three sizes and four different colors, with a blank interior to optimize the quality of the downward light.

The shades can be combined with two versatile stands to make various sizes of adjustable, rotating floor lamps; the fixture can also be affixed directly to the floor or wall, and the shades can be hung independently as pendants.

For designers George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg, design is about telling stories. The classic Lab collection is expanding to include two sizes of bollard and a slim wall lamp. These new designs bring a bit of texture and formal simplicity to outdoor spaces. With this wall lamp version, an aluminium structure surrounding the fixture creates an interior space where light and materials interact, with the soft LED lighting playing off sheets of painted metal or dark iroko wood.

The beauty of the Mercer collection comes not only from its essential shape, but from how its materials blend together. The transparent blown glass structure surrounds the textile shade, which seems to float, conveying a sense of airiness and sophistication.

The diffuser’s interior fabric is available in two finishes: a ribbon of pleated white cotton, and a more modern and minimalist version in pearl white textilene.

Moving the point of light, that’s the idea behind the new design by Jaume Ramírez. Milana involves a system of modular suspension lamps that combine with one another and can be moved both vertically and horizontally.

Paradoxically, this new design starts by deconstructing the archetype of a lamp; by synthesizing it as much as possible, only a cylindrical body remains, suspended with a built-in LED. To this cylinder we can add different conical shades in oyster white and black in several sizes. But most ingenious of all is that each of these lamps can have a simple counterweight such that when they are hung between two points, they can be moved.

A good design is one that endures. So it is with Plaff-on!, a lamp that has been illuminating walls and ceilings for almost ten years. Its hand-blown white glass diffuser appears to float, detaching from the ceiling and the circumference that surrounds it, and its light filters upward to create a luminous halo. It exudes simplicity and it’s very useful, so much so that there was a striking need to have this kind of lamp for exteriors as well. The Plaff-on! outdoor offers the same features as the indoor version, and with an IP65 or IP54 rating, making it perfect for bathrooms as well.

Applying a digitally designed fabric crease to ceramics. This is how the Pleat Box lamp was created, resulting in a design that conveys beauty in its material, shapes and texture.

Ceramic is a ductile, malleable material, and every lamp in the collection is handcrafted. Fusing the clay with different enamels has allowed Xavier Mañosa to discover and interpret new light effects. He has gone as far as to play with two different finishes on the inside of the lamp: a brilliant white enamel to create sparkles that enhance the light, and a 24-carat gold plated version that emits extraordinarily warm lighting.

The outside of the lamp comes in the collection’s classic finishes – white, black, terracotta and grey – as well as in the recently added dark green and ochre, two new shades that expand the range of possibilities to combine different sizes, heights and colours.
