Floor lamp

The VL Studio family arises from a lamp designed by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen for Radiohuset, the headquarters of the Danish national radio and television company, located in Copenhagen, in the 1940s. The name “Studio” was chosen because some of these lamps were used outside the recording studio to indicate, with a red or green light, whether a live broadcast was taking place.

Poul Henningsen designed the three-screen system in 1925-1926. Together with Louis Poulsen, PH designed the first lamps to use this system for an exhibition in Paris. The collaboration between the two continued until his death in 1967. Throughout his life, PH sought to create direct, glare-free lighting in places where it was needed most.

The NJP series was designed by Oki Sato, founder of the Nendo design studio, with the intention of giving a new interpretation to the classic Anglepoise articulated arm lamp – with all its well-known characteristics – in a current design that would adapt the functions to the Today's way of working, both in the office and at home.

The VL38 floor lamp is based on the original design of the VL38 table lamp. The VL38 table lamp was originally designed in the late 1930s by Vilhelm Lauritzen in collaboration with Louis Poulsen for the construction of the Radiohuset (the Danish radio station) building in Copenhagen (today the Royal Danish Academy of Music).

Originally launched in 1939, the PH Luna lamp was known as “The Bedside Table Lamp,” the name given to this small table lamp by its designer, Poul Henningsen. The characteristic curved shape of the stem makes the PH Luna recognizable and the brushed brass finish is a classic complement to the opaline glass shades.

The beauty that the Cala collection exudes comes from its simple, synthetic and essential form: a lampshade that embraces the light without containing it, letting it escape to achieve a very warm lighting. Its oak wood structure is light and resistant, and is inspired by classic painter's easels. An iconic Marset design defined by the most precious combination: form and function.

By moving the Copernica lamp one can feel the sensation of weightlessness. As if levitating, its weight is barely noticeable, it moves through space precisely without friction or resistance.

Circles, semicircles, tubes and bars of different diameters and thicknesses, different materials and weights... With all these primary elements, Copernica builds geometric light sculptures that combine functionality with the beauty of pure lines.

Funiculí is one of Marset's most emblematic lamps. Its design has seen a lot of time pass and is still current but it is also functional, it can illuminate with direct or indirect light and allows the height of the light to be modulated with its set of clips.
