Arguably one of Ib Kofod-Larsen's best-known designs, The Seal is an elegant armchair typical of its time – and yet entirely timeless. The angled frame and armrests and leather upholstery put comfort at the fore, inviting lounging. And despite being made of heavy materials, it has a lightness to it; the shell appears to float inside the wooden frame. Named after the Swedish ski resort, The Seal is a fine example of Ib Kofod-Larsen's organic design and focus on detail and comfort. The chair is available with a low or high back.

Designed for use with Arnold Madsen’s Oda Chair but equally purposeful alone, the Oda Ottoman profiles the same careful craft and embracing form, shaped to offer comfortable support when seated. Constructed according to a vintage version as there are no drawings of the original design, the Oda Ottoman profiles a sublime level of craftsmanship, evident in the intricacy of its upholstery. Available with legs in natural oak or walnut.

Originally dubbed Model 9, the Oda Chair was an ambitious design from the very beginning. Created by Arnold Madsen in around 1956, the aesthetic reinterpretation of an armchair has a complex horseshoe construction with an integrated headrest and beautifully incorporated armrests in wood. Offering comfortable support, the embracing design was initially – and mistakenly – attributed to Nanna Ditzel. In 2020 it was rightfully credited to Madsen. Originally dubbed the U-56, the Elizabeth Ottoman by Ib Kofod Larsen is a classical and comfortable accent piece for use when reclining in the corresponding Elizabeth Chair, which takes its name from Queen Elizabeth II, who purchased the design during a visit to Copenhagen in 1962.

Daniel Schofield’s Ray Table Lamp for Audo has a distinctive silhouette inspired by old mining lamps. Its simplified design in powder-coated metal and glass features a practical top handle that makes it easy to carry the lamp to wherever light is needed – from a living room shelf or dining room table to a bedside cabinet. Emitting a soft, muted glow from its energy-saving LED bulb, the dimmable design is adjustable to three settings. Available in two beautiful colours that complement any interior design scheme.

To preserve battery life, switch the lamp off when charging and do not leave plugged in while in use. The Portable lamp is compatible with Audo's Charging Board.

The Hashira Collection, designed for Audo by Norm Architects, takes its cues from Japanese paper lanterns. The portable iteration of the mood-enhancing design delivers ambient lighting on the go, bringing a warm glow and subtle tactility to spaces indoors and out. Small in scale yet big in impact, it has the freedom and flexibility to move anywhere you want. Fitted with a concealed USB charger socket at the base, the lamp provides 10 hours of adjustable light when fully charged. Place it on our Charging Board, which reanimates multiple devices in a single sitting, or charge using a standard socket.

The Penguin Rocking Chair leans towards the American modernists from the 1950s and 1960s. So beautiful that it can be displayed as a work of art in any home, it is open in its construction with a curved back of oak or walnut veneer and has a seat upholstered in fabric or leather against the stringent steel frame. Contrasting and playful, while being well-proportioned and fully formed, the chair, designed by furniture designer Ib Kofod-Larsen in 1953, is a piece of Danish cultural heritage and design history – and maybe more modern than ever before with its beautiful silhouette and sculptural, organic lines and curves.

Inspired by French modernist lighting fixtures and designed to resemble a flickering flame, Flambeau is a sculptural design with playful presence. The metal backplate magnifies and reflects candlelight to create intriguing shadows and beautiful ambience.

The Penguin Lounge Chair is a mid-century masterpiece. Reclining and harmonious, but with plenty of boldness, it is characterised by calmness and balance. Sitting in this deep, low chair feels comfortable and safe. The chair embraces you. When furniture designer Ib Kofod-Larsen designed the Penguin Chair in 1953, he focused on the person who was to sit in it. Its curved back and angled seat cradle the body, and its otherwise remarkably straightforward design provides a surprisingly high level of comfort. The Penguin Lounge Chair has a graphic purity that enables it to interact seamlessly with other furniture pieces.

Light, elegant, sculptural and artistic, the Penguin Dining Chair is a rare Danish Modern icon designed by Danish furniture designer Ib Kofod-Larsen in 1953. When it was launched in the United States, the chair was also called the Ib Kofod-Larsen Chair – and has therefore become Kofod-Larsen’s signature. The proportions with the slightly oversize seat and back, the large organically shaped shell in contrast to the petite, slender frame have a naivety about them. But at the same time, The Penguin Dining Chair is a sophisticated, bold chair with plenty of personality – an all-round chair, but anything but ordinary. Its penguin-shaped flippers on the back of the chair are typical of Ib Kofod-Larsen’s simple and honest aesthetics. The back moulds its way into the body to ensure comfort and support as well as a unique sitting experience. The Penguin Dining Chair is perfect for both the home and public spaces.
