PH 5
€969.01 €1,020.01 -5%Poul Henningsen developed the PH 5 in 1958 in response to constant changes in the shape and size of incandescent bulbs, and created a lamp that could be used with any light source. The iconic design is based on the same principles as Henningsen's three-screen system, which ensures that the light is smooth, pleasant and completely anti-glare, making it the perfect dining table lamp. Originally, the PH 5 was equipped with red and blue displays to improve the color of the light, but these were removed in later designs, as modern designs reproduce the three-screen light much more smoothly than in 1958. ...Estimated delivery time: 3/4 weeks, confirmation will be sent with delivery time. -

The lamp's name comes from the handmade sketches by Finn Juhl, in which the latter described it as composed of elements. The first sketches document the shape, proportions and concept of the direction for a whole series of its frames, and also inform its direction.

Meanwhile, the light of choice over the tables of most households' dining rooms was the candelabro itself, which went on to provide electricity and silk displays.
